CCSO on scene of officer-involved shooting in Punta Gorda

CCSO: Sheriff Bill Prummell, via video from Washington, D.C., shares some of the details of the deputy-involved shooting that occurred on Eager Road in Punta Gorda earlier this evening. The suspect, Michael Lewis Schwartz (10/29/1971) was pronounced dead at the scene. More information will be released as it becomes available, which will likely be early next week. The investigation is still very active at this time.
