Sarasota County was awarded $201.5 million through the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) CDBG-DR program to address unmet needs resulting from Hurricane Ian. Resilient SRQ is responsible for administering this funding to support housing recovery, infrastructure and public facilities, multifamily affordable housing, and workforce development and training. These programs focus on assisting low-to-moderate-income households and addressing the areas most impacted by the storm.
