City of Venice New Year’s hours and waste management schedule

✨City Hall will be closed Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025, for the New Year’s Day holiday.
♻️ All garbage, yard waste and recyclables will be collected on Wednesday customers’ next regular pickup day, which is Saturday, Jan. 4.
To help keep the season merry and green, we’ve placed cardboard-only dumpsters at 4 convenient locations around the City: Wellfield Park, 1300 Ridgewood Ave (available year-round); Venice Community Center, 326 Nokomis Ave S (enter off Milan Ave, available year-round); Venice Fire Rescue Station 53, 5300 E Laurel Rd (available through 1/8/25); and City property near 219 Seaboard Ave (available through 1/8/25); remember to breakdown all cardboard before dropping off.
🎄To dispose of live Christmas trees, cut into 4-foot pieces and place at the curb with weekly yard waste collection.
