Venice residents now must call to schedule bulk yard waste pickups

The City of Venice Solid Waste Division will be resuming bulk yard waste collections on Monday, Dec. 2.

Residents must contact Public Works at 941-486-2422 to schedule bulk yard waste pickups. The yard waste pile cannot be under any trees or power lines, or too close to mailboxes or sprinkler heads. No stumps or logs larger than 8 inches in diameter. This collection is for brush removal and tree or bush trimmings only, not for tree removal.

 

Bulk yard waste collections have been on pause for hurricane debris pickup by the City’s contracted haulers. Bulk waste pickups for other items (furniture, appliances, etc.) have already resumed and can also be made by calling 941-486-2422.
