We’re excited to welcome residents and visitors back to Venice Beach today, Friday, Nov. 1, following repairs and remediation from the recent hurricanes! Sarasota County lifeguards are back on duty, and the parking lot, concessions, and restrooms are now available at this beautiful Sarasota County operated and maintained public beach. Swim smart, stay hydrated and wear sunscreen.

The Florida Department of Health in Sarasota is conducting regular water quality testing, those results can be found weekly here.

Additionally, all City parks have reopened to the public, including Centennial, West Blalock, Heritage, Venezia, John Nolen, East Gate and Mundy.

Families should be aware there may still be large vegetative debris piles near beaches and parks, please use caution.
