The City of Venice has reopened the Higel Marine Park boat ramp

The City of Venice has reopened the Higel Marine Park boat ramp at 1330 Tarpon Center Dr. today, Friday, Nov. 15. This reopening to the public includes the park’s pavilion and restrooms.

The City would like to thank Sea Tow Venice and Ram Marine for all their hard work since Hurricanes Helene and Milton, with waterway debris cleanup and repairs to the dock by Ram Marine. Mariners should keep in mind this is a small boat ramp, and you are required to park your single vehicle in the designated parking. Do not park a single vehicle in a Boat Trailer Only parking space.

Other open boat ramp parks in the area include Marina Park and Boat Ramp near the Historic Venice Train Depot, as well as Manasota, Indian Mound, and Blackburn Point.
