Investigators continue gathering witness statements regarding the November 2 crash at Cortez Rd and 43rd St W. Anyone who witnessed the crash, or who was in the area in the moments before or after, who hasn’t already spoken to investigators, is asked to contact Officer Ian Emrich at [email protected].

Cesar Navarrete, 25, is currently charged with DUI Manslaughter and Driving While License Suspended Causing Death or Serious Bodily Injury. The crash killed Sara-Danielle Holmes, a Bradenton mother who was on her way home from work.
