SCSO is investigating a school bus crash this morning

Two passengers, a school board employee and one student, were on the bus when the accident occurred. The driver and the two passengers were not injured. The parent of the student was notified.

The school bus was traveling North on Aquila Street before attempting a left turn onto Adriatic Street. A stop sign, damaged in Hurricane Milton, was leaning over the roadway. The bus struck the stop sign damaging six windows as it completed the turn. This is an ongoing investigation.
