SCSO detectives received a #CrimeStoppers tip regarding possible drug sales at 4626 Sawyer Rd in Sarasota.

Following a coordinated and comprehensive investigation involving our agency’s special investigations section, tactical patrols, narcotics enforcement, and SWAT team – a search warrant was executed on the property on Monday, Oct. 22. A search of the residence resulted in the seizure of:

• 290 grams of pressed Fentanyl tablets

• 1,698.1 grams of cocaine HCL

• 2,991.2 grams of MDMA

• 20.30 lbs of flower cannabis

• $36,164 in U.S. currency

• 15 grams of LSD

• 22.52 lbs of psilocybin mushroom

• 443.15 lbs of cannabis edibles

• a large quantity of unknown pressed tablets that requires further testing

Deputies charged Blaine S. Hudson (DOB: 3/28/1995) with:

• Sale of Fentanyl (x2 counts)

• Principal to Sale of Fentanyl (2 counts)

• Unlawful Use of a 2-way Communication Device

• Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Distribute

• Trafficking in Fentanyl (Over 28 grams)

• Trafficking in Cocaine (Over 200 grams)

• Trafficking in MDMA (Over 400 grams)

Deputies charged Johnna M. Morris (DOB 9/11/2000) with:

• Sale of Fentanyl (x2 counts)

The trafficking in Fentanyl charge alone carries a 25-year minimum mandatory sentence upon conviction.
