👉STORM DEBRIS COLLECTION: The City’s debris vendors have mobilized double loaders and are beginning with vegetative, construction, and demolition debris collection from the public right-of-way along the City’s coastline.

Debris haulers will operate from sunrise to sunset seven days a week to collect residential and commercial debris from Helene and Milton. If your home was not damaged, now is not the time for spring cleaning. You may not see debris haulers in the community while they travel to and from the debris management site to unload.

When preparing your debris, DO NOT place debris in the roadways. Debris piles should be separated by type and placed at the curb away from mailboxes, telephone poles, vehicles, and overhanging branches. It is illegal to dump debris at City parks, and the burning of vegetative debris is prohibited.

Thank you for being so patient as our vendors and staff work as safely and quickly as possible. Debris collection of this magnitude can take up to or over 90 days to complete.

Your landscaping may be impacted, with some grass dying or going dormant. Certain native grasses will naturally rebound once debris is removed, while others may require extra watering or nutrients to fully recover.
