SCSO Special Investigations Section (SIS) detectives, with the assistance of SWAT, executed a search warrant at 321 Mt. Pleasant in Nokomis on Thursday, August 29, where they located the following:

• 715.8g of methamphetamine (nearly 2 lbs.)
• 114.5g of fentanyl (over 4 oz.)
• 2.9g of buprenorphine hydrochloride pills (suboxone)

On August 29, detectives arrested both Timothy Scott Matthews (3/20/68) and Tyler Scott Matthews (12/24/88) in connection with the search and charged each of them with 2 felony counts of trafficking methamphetamine and fentanyl and a misdemeanor for possession of a controlled substance (Buprenorphine).

This was not only a great team effort but a significant seizure! We thank the detectives for their hard work getting these drugs off of our streets!
