8 am EDT Fri, Sep. 20: As we head into next week, we’ll be watching for possible development of low pressure over the northwestern Caribbean Sea. This system has a medium (50%) chance of becoming a tropical depression through the end of next week as it moves slowly north or northwest toward the southern Gulf of Mexico.
