Another school thread on the Suncoast, this time in Punta Gorda

PGP: Punta Gorda Police Department is aware of recent social media posts indicating a potential threat to one of our schools. These posts have been reported by concerned community members. There is no evidence of a credible threat at this time; however, the Punta Gorda Police Department takes any such reports very seriously and will investigate. Out of an abundance of caution, the Punta Gorda Police Department will have an increased presence at our schools tomorrow. Again, no credible threat to our schools currently exists, but you may notice extra officers in and around the schools on Thursday for everyone’s safety.
