A Port Charlotte woman with a history of drug charges was arrested again on multiple charges, to include trafficking in fentanyl and methamphetamine.
At approximately 5:30pm on July 30, 2024, members of the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit observed a known subject, identified as Kristina Michelle Seybold (07/02/1996), enter the Dollar General located at 4265 Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte. The Narcotics Unit had outstanding felony charges on Seybold from a prior undercover purchase of Fentanyl. When Seybold exited the Dollar General, she was placed under arrest without incident.
Upon searching Seybold, the suspect was found to be in possession of the following controlled substances:
- 32.3 grams of Fentanyl
- 54.7 grams of Methamphetamine
- Suboxone strips
- Hydromorphone Hydrochloride pills
- Clonazepam pills
Seybold also had numerous items of drug paraphernalia, as well as a large amount of cash that was seized.
“Some people just refuse to learn a lesson, and this individual is one of those people. When you continue to push poison on my streets, disrupting the quality of life for the good people of this community, you will face the consequences. So again, I offer a choice to anyone who is dealing in Charlotte County: Leave now – or I will have a cell ready for you at the Charlotte County Jail as well.”
– Sheriff Bill Prummell
Seybold was already out on bond for two other cases, one of which was another undercover purchase of a trafficking amount of Fentanyl. Seybold was transported to the Charlotte County Jail where she was booked on Trafficking in Fentanyl, Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance (X3), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Kristina Seybold remains in custody at the Charlotte County Jail, where she is being held without bond.
