North Port fire assisting in Jackson Rd cement plant fire in Venice

North Port Fire

North Port Fire Rescue is currently assisting @Sarasota County Emergency Services with an automatic aid response to a structure fire with exposures in the area of N. Jackson Rd and E Venice Ave.

Thanks to the quick and coordinated efforts of all teams involved, the fire is now under control. We’re relieved to report that there are no injuries. Cause of the fire is under investigation.
