Man dies after jumping into the Manatee River

BPD: *UPDATE: A man entered the Manatee River for unknown reasons, and didn’t resurface. BPD, the Bradenton Fire Department, and EMS responded, however, the man was located, deceased. The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.*  The Bradenton Police Department is on the scene of a death investigation in the 200 block of Riverside Drive E. There is no indication of foul play, and there is no threat to the public.
