City of Venice trash and recycling pickups are set to resume Tuesday, Aug. 6. However, due to flooding at the Sarasota County landfill from Hurricane Debby, yard waste will NOT be collected or accepted at this time.

Residents who have Monday collection and were not serviced today will have pickups on their next regular collection day of Thursday, Aug. 8.

When the County gives the OK for yard waste pickups to resume, that information will be communicated to customers. Thank you for your patience.
