Sarasota Police arrested three people in connection with the Tuesday morning shooting

Officers responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 5 a.m. in the 1800 block of 29th Street, Sarasota. A juvenile suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wounds and was transported to the hospital. The victim’s identity is withheld under Marsy’s Law.

 

Antorri Smith, 14, is arrested and charged with attempted murder with a firearm, which is a felony in the State of Florida.

 

Jaylon Williams, 15, is arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to sell within 1,000 feet of a church and possession of drug paraphernalia.

 

Fatima Williams, 36, is arrested and charged with child neglect, possession of marijuana with the intent to sell within 1,000 feet of a church, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
