Individual passes away after nearly drowning at Englewood Beach on Saturday

According to the CCSO an individual nearly drowned at Englewood Beach yesterday morning. The near drowning occurred around 11:20 yesterday afternoon. CC Fire and Emergency Services responded and tried to save the individuals’ life. The individual eventually passed away, while at the hospital. It is believed that the individual had some underlining medical issue that may have led to the drowning and eventually she passed away from the medical condition, which may or may not have occurred from the near drowning.
