Warm Minerals Springs Park reopens after well pump failure

CITY OF NORTH PORT, FL — North Port Parks & Recreation Department is pleased to announce that Warm Mineral Springs Park has resumed its regular hours of operation following a temporary closure. The park was closed on Saturday, June 1 due to a well pump failure, which disrupted the water supply to the restrooms and administration buildings.
The swift and dedicated response from our staff, maintenance team and contractors ensured the rapid replacement of the failed pump.
An automatic extension has been applied to the pass expiration date for all existing passholders with an active pass at the time of closure. For questions regarding this extension, please call 941-429-PARK (7275), option 1.
Warm Mineral Springs Park is open daily from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; visit NorthPortFL.gov/WMSP for admission fees.
