Sarasota Sheriff’s office is investigating yet another fatal shooting

The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a shooting that occurred in the 3400 block of 17th Street, Sarasota at approximately 3:30am.
One victim is deceased and other victims are being treated at local hospitals. One eastbound lane of 17th Street between Tallywood Drive and Beneva Road is shutdown. This appears to be an isolated incident.
