Sarasota Police are investigating a homicide that occurred shortly after 10 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2024, near the intersection of 31st St and Osprey Ave, Sarasota.
A 28-year-old male was shot and died from his injuries. This is an isolated incident, and the public is not believed to be in danger.
