NATIONAL SAFE BOATING WEEK On March 14, 2024, Marine Patrol Officer Skinner stopped a boat in Sarasota Bay for a random safety inspection. The woman on board didn’t know that the boat operator (her boyfriend) asked for Officer Skinner’s help with a surprise marriage proposal. Thankfully, the couple passed the safety inspection with flying colors, AND Deborah said yes!
