North Port man arrested for lewd and lascivious activity with a teen, alleges semen could have come from a jar in the freezer
Francesco Abbruzzino, The Uncensored Report, LLC
David Bunn of North Port finds himself in some trouble after sparking a relationship with a minor using social media apps.
Basically, a teen from Charlotte County went missing. Upon reviewing her snapchat and google history, it was determined that the runaway (victim) was at a home in North Port. That is where David comes into the picture. On 4.7 the police went to David’s house to find out if the victim was on location. David said she was not and denied any sexual activity with her.
CCSO continued the investigation and once again asked NPPD to visit David’s home again on 4.8. At first David denied the victim was there, but after some pressure, admitted that the teen was in the house. They found the victim sleeping in David’s bed and when the police found her, she started crying. The victim alleged that she had been drugged and sexually battered (see PCA for specifics). The victim stated that she tried to leave but alleges that David would not let her leave.
David told the police that he thought the victim was 18 but was suspicious of her age. David is 37-years-old. The police asked David if there would be any DNA on or inside of the victim, he said maybe from the sheets because they were not washed. However, it would not be from sex. He alluded to the fact that he kept a jar of semen in the freezer, and it is possible and that is the only way it would be on or in the victim because they did not have sex. He firmly denies having any sexual activity with the victim.
I am attaching the Probable Cause Affidavit, which has the specifics. You can view it by clicking -> here.
David was charged with kidnapping, lewd and lascivious battery and interfering with custody of a minor.

NPPD put this out after I broke the story
The North Port Police Department arrested 37-year-old David Bunn of North Port on charges of sexual battery on a child, interfering with the custody of a minor, and kidnapping.
Bunn met the teenage victim through social media and utilized a ride-sharing service to bring her to his home.
NPPD was made aware of where the child may be after she did not return home. Detectives went to the home on Kenwood Drive. After initially denying the victim was in his residence, officers continued to investigate, finding the young lady inside.
The victim advised that she had been drugged, sexually battered, and was not allowed to leave.
We are providing all available resources to the victim. Bunn was booked into the Sarasota County jail where he remains with no bond.
“Please do your best to keep track of who your children are talking to online or keep them off it altogether,” says Chief Todd Garrison. “We understand that it is not easy, but monsters like this are real, and they are closer than you might imagine.”
It is possible that other victims could be out there. If you have any information, you are urged to call the North Port Police Department at 941-429-7300.
