Suncoast:  Police are still looking for Fidel Fletcher on a charge of second degree murder

As reported earlier in this post, a warrant has been issued for the arrest of Fidel Fletcher for a charge of 2nd Degree Murder. Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers (800-780-TIPS (8477)) has offered a reward up to $3000 for information leading to his arrest. The US Marshall Service Fugitive Task Force has also offered a reward of $5000 for information leading to his arrest.

Fletcher was last seen in the Arcadia, Florida area possibly wearing Blue Jeans and an older style OD Green Army style jacket. He may also in possession of a BMX style bicycle, color flat black.

If you know his whereabouts, or if you see this person, please contact law enforcement immediately.

An autopsy has been completed on this victim. The cause of death has been determined to be Homicide. A warrant has been obtained for the arrest of Fidel Fletcher for Murder.

The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office is saddened to report that the victim in this incident has passed away at a medical facility from the injuries sustained. An autopsy is being conducted to determine the exact cause and manner of death. Once this is determined, specific charges will be amended and announced.
