NPPD tracks down a stolen Christmas present, in Arcadia

What a tangled web we weave. The stolen item recovered thanks to solid police work. Right before New Year’s Day, we told you about a child’s Spiderman bike snatched from a nearby Aldi’s store. Officers jumped into action and helped replace the Christmas present. However, we were not done there.
Detectives were able to track down the Honda CRV the perpetrators were driving in Arcadia. With assistance from the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office the bike was recovered and those responsible will be facing charges. More on that in the future.
As Spiderman once said, “With great power, there must also come great responsibility”. NPPD is dedicated to making those who commit crimes, big or small, accountable.
