Concern after a VPD officer gets rehired, while an alleged domestic battery charge hangs over his head

Francesco Abbruzzino, The Uncensored Report, LLC

I pulled this record from the county and as of October 31, there is a motion hearing set for December 28.  It is concerning that the individual was rehired while the first-degree misdemeanor charge for battery is hanging over the officer’s head.  The alleged battery took place earlier this year in February.  Perhaps VPD should have put the rehire on hold, pending the outcome of this case.  Thoughts?

Good afternoon,

My name is Michele xxxxx. I am the ex wife of just recently rehired Sgt xxxx xxxx with the VPD. I am hoping for some guidance from the city council. Mr Gregoire has pending criminal charges against him for battery. There are also other case numbers with the sheriff’s office. I would like the opportunity to discuss this matter with you. There need to be more resources for police spouses that are victims of domestic violence. We are ignored and brushed under the rug.

This beautiful city that I have been a part of since 1989 currently has a monster on its streets with a gun and a badge.

I have been ignored by Ed Lavallee, Charlie Thorpe and Nick Pachota. I need this addressed before the city council.

Thank you

Michele
