Sexual Predator Notification for the City of Sarasota

The Sarasota Police Department is informing the public that Jeffrey Earl Smith, 57, a sexual predator, has moved into the City of Sarasota.
Smith is a sexual predator who just moved to 1432 17th Street, Sarasota. Smith was designated as a Sexual Predator in July 1997 in Sarasota. He was charged with sexual battery with a weapon or by force. Smith is 5’8”, 195 lbs., and has black hair and brown eyes.
Photographs and additional information on sexual offenders and predators can be retrieved on the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) website at https://offender.fdle.state.fl.us/offender/sops/home.jsf Residents can also sign up to receive notifications from FDLE of sex offender and predator registrations and address changes.
The Sarasota Police Department distributes this information to area schools, state registered daycare centers and posts the information on all social media outlets, including Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, and the Sarasota Police Department website, www.sarasotapd.org
