Venice Police arrest a man for allegedly choking a K9 puppy, punching the woman that tried to stop it, and a sexual battery

Venice Police recieved a call come in regarding a domestic disturbance.
 
Upon arrival to the home, the police found the victim, who had noticeable swelling to her face. They asked her what happened, and she explained that Zane Stratton was choking their K9 in an effort to stop the puppy from barking. The barking angered Zane, so he allegedly pinned the puppy to the floor and used his hands to choke the dog.
 
The victim tried to stop Zain and that is when he turned his anger on her, allegedly striking the victim in the face with a closed fist. He than grabbed her arms and legs. The victim also noted sexual battery in the past, alleging that Zain would threaten her with death or violence, if she didn’t perform oral sex. As you will see from the PCA below, this was not an isolated occurrence. The victim alleges a history of sexual battery from Zain, which involved fear and intimidation.
