Repair work begins on Manasota Key road – WTSP

Manasota Key Road: Manasota Key Road repair work is underway and construction is expected to be complete by Nov. 14. Please be aware that the road remains to be closed to vehicular, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic during construction. Blind Pass Beach Park is still open to the public, but those visiting the area are reminded to use caution in the vicinity of the construction site.
Please note: B-roll of the repair starts at 1:15 and b-roll of the damage from Sept. 1 starts at 2:54.
Casey Key Road: Over the last two weeks, crews have been on Casey Key Road reinstalling a shoreline protection feature. This project is expected to be completed Friday, Oct. 27.
