CITY OF NORTH PORT, FL – The City of North Port has launched a redesigned NorthPortFL.gov, the City’s official website, pushing popular services and features to the forefront.

The website now has a more user-friendly interface, making it easier for residents to access important information and services. It features improved navigation, faster load times and a sleek design that reflects the City’s brand.

Paying a bill, finding a permit or applying for a job is at the forefront, making it easier for North Port residents to conduct business. The content has been audited, cutting down on unnecessary pages and keeping what’s most important and useful.

“Our City is focused on providing services to our community quickly and efficiently, and this cutting-edge website is another tool in the toolbox to continue providing them,” City Manager Jerome Fletcher said.

In 2022, NorthPortFL.gov received roughly 2.5 million unique pageviews and has received national recognition for how it presented Hurricane Ian information and resources. As the City grows, so will website traffic. Ease of use is and will continue to be important to residents and business owners.

The website project included content migration, design, employee training, mobile responsive design, accessibility enhancements and more. The City’s last website redesign was in 2010. The Communications Division led design and development efforts in partnership with Granicus, a national leader in government website development.
