DRUG TRAFFICKER GUILTY
Daymond Davis Nolte was found guilty of multiple drug charges, including trafficking Fentanyl, following a two-day trial in Charlotte County. The jury returned the guilty verdict this afternoon.
Nolte was convicted of the following: Sale or Delivery of a Controlled Substance, two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Transportation of Drug Paraphernalia, Unlawful Use of a Two- Way Communication Device, Trafficking in Dangerous Fentanyl or Fentanyl Analogues – Special Finding 4 grams, and Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent.
On August 12, 2021, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit conducted an undercover operation to help stop illegal drug sales. The defendant sold Fentanyl and methamphetamine to law enforcement and a confidential informant during the operation, from a garage, at a private residence in Port Charlotte.
Inside the garage, the defendant had various drugs and drug paraphernalia, including plastic baggies and a digital scale, all of which were utilized by the defendant during the drug transaction.
Attorney Scott Patterson prosecuted the case.
