City of North Port Hires New Emergency Manager

City of North Port, FL – The City of North Port is excited to announce that Stacy Aloisio will take the reins as the new Emergency Manager for the City effective Aug. 5, 2023.
Aloisio has been employed with the City of North Port for nearly a year as she has served as the Emergency Management Coordinator under the direction of outgoing Emergency Manager Mike Ryan. She has extensive Emergency Management experience from varied roles in Lee and Brevard counties over the last five years. Aloisio holds a master’s degree in Emergency Management, which complements her experience in this highly specialized field.
“Stacy competed in a process that involved 18 qualified applicants from all over the country,” said North Port Fire Rescue Chief Scott Titus. “She stood out amongst the competition, and we are so excited that she was selected to assume the role of Emergency Manager.”
Responsibilities will include the preparation, response, recovery and mitigation of disasters and other large-scale emergencies.
