UPDATE:
 
We are heartbroken to confirm that the body of 4-year-old Evelyn K. Geer (2-25-2019) has been discovered along the water edge down the canal behind the VRBO the family was staying in.
 
FWC located her about an hour ago while searching by boat. Please keep the family in your prayers as they go through this unbearable time.

4-year-old Evelyn K. Geer (2-25-2019) has been missing for several hours. She wandered off from the VRBO home her family has been staying at on Barksdale St. in Port Charlotte (near Cochran and Collingswood). She was wearing a diaper at the time.

We currently have Aviation and our bloodhound out looking for Evelyn.
 
Please keep your eye out for her while driving around town and call in anything you may see or any information you may have to CCSO at 941-639-2101.
 
Let’s bring little Evelyn home.
