North Port Police arrest a man for lewd behavior at a local park

We recently arrested a man for lewd behavior in a local park. Members of the Special Enforcement Team (SET) were flagged down due to a report of an adult male pleasuring himself at the pavilion at Dallas White Park. A mother was playing at the park with her children when she witnessed the incident. SET members stopped 64-year-old Ronald D. Peacock. During the investigation, Peacock attempted to leave. He was quickly detained after being taken to the ground. Only minor injuries were reported.
 
At the conclusion of the investigation, the act was confirmed on surveillance video at the park.
 
Peacock was arrested for Lewd & Lascivious Exhibition and Resisting Arrest Without Violence. He is being held at the Sarasota County Jail on a $10,500 bond.
