City of Sarasota will be flying the Pride Flag at city hall next week

The City of Sarasota will be flying the Progress Pride Flag, outside of City Hall during the week of May 8. The city is doing this during the Be Fabulous Music and Arts Festival. The unanimous vote to fly the Pride flag took place on Monday. This decision comes after the city adopted a new flag policy, adhering to a 2022 Supreme Court decision.
