NPPD conducted an arrest and search warrant Friday in conjunction with the U.S. Marshals Service on a residence in the 2300 block of Sparkle Lane. Arrested is Terrance Johnson, 28, of Bradenton, on previous charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. While conducting the search, multiple firearms, money, and drugs were located – most notably, 88 bags of the deadly narcotic fentanyl.
“Thanks to outstanding work by our team, more of this deadly drug is off our streets. If you bring this garbage to North Port, we are watching. It’s only a matter of time before we meet,” says NPPD Chief Todd Garrison.
The investigation is ongoing. Additional charges are forthcoming.
