NORTH PORT, FL – City Manager Jerome Fletcher will participate in an upcoming series of community engagement sessions aimed at bringing together City leadership and North Port residents to discuss the future of our growing city.
The “North Port United” Tour is sponsored by North Port Forward, a nonprofit organization that encourages dialogue and civic involvement. The tour is a follow-up to the successful 2022 “Meet & Mingle” series involving the City Manager, City Commissioners and staff.
The kickoff session is scheduled for 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, at the North Port Public Safety Building, 19955 Preto Blvd., in Wellen Park. The meeting will include a brief presentation and an opportunity for citizens to have their questions answered by City staff.
“We are excited to begin this next round of community engagement in Wellen Park, where so much of North Port’s tremendous growth and opportunity is currently centered,” City Manager Fletcher said. “Despite the conversations about de-annexation, we look forward to sharing the facts and discussing how everyone benefits from Wellen Park being part of our community of unity.”
Online registration is required, as seating is limited. Light refreshments will be served.
