Sarasota Police share an alert regarding a child that was seen out running near Tuttle

Just after 7:40 PM tonight, Friday, December 2, a young child, believed to be a 7 or 8-year-old Hispanic boy wearing blue shorts and a red shirt, was seen by a construction worker and an off-duty officer near Tuttle Avenue and Cheryle Lane running westbound on Cheryle Lane.

Sarasota Police officers have been unable to locate the child since the original 911 call was made. The child is possibly lost; however, we have no current reports of a missing child at this time.
