North Port near the completion of their first round of debris pickup

City of North Port

As we head into the weekend, hurricane debris collection crews continue to work toward completion of the first round of pickup in the City. If you have not received your first pickup, crews should be in your neighborhood soon.

A few other notes:

➡️ With the first round of collection nearly complete, now is the best time to get any remaining debris you have curbside for the second round of collection. Please remember to place vegetative and construction and demolition (C&D) debris in separate piles and place your debris away from potential obstacles.
➡️ Over 50,000 cubic yards of collected debris have now been moved out of the City. This total includes over 20,000 cubic yards of compacted C&D debris and over 30,000 cubic yards of mulched vegetative debris.
