North Port gives notice of termination of the Warm Mineral Springs Site Management Agreement

At the Dec. 8, 2022 City Commission Special Meeting, staff were directed to give National and State Park Concessions a notice of a 90-day termination of the Warm Mineral Springs Site Management Agreement. They also directed City Manager to move as expeditiously as possible to reopen Warm Mineral Springs Park and to ensure that the community and Commission were kept apprised of progress in a timely fashion. Staff will continue to pursue a strategic partnership for the building restoration/improvements and future park development. Should the City complete the tasks necessary for operational restoration and meet the criteria for a safe reopening before a public private partnership agreement can be reached, the City will open and operate the facility.
