North Port addresses the storm debris and solid waste pickup

Coming off of the Thanksgiving break, hurricane debris collection crews will be back in town and collecting storm debris beginning Monday. Here are a few quick notes as storm debris pickup resumes:
 
 Crews are getting close to completing the first pass through the City. If collection has not happened on your street yet, crews will be heading that way soon. We appreciate everyone’s patience as we continue on in this enormous task.
 
 Also Monday, Solid Waste will resume accepting bulk pickups scheduling requests for non-Hurricane Ian-related material. These pickups can be scheduled by calling Public Works Customer Service at 941-240-8050. Appliance pickups can also be scheduled by calling Public Works Customer Service.

 Solid Waste will also resume scheduling for garbage and recycling totes to be repaired or replaced.
