City of Venice debris collection UPDATE 11/7- final pass collection to start 11/14

Debris pickup from Hurricane Ian in the City of Venice is ongoing with contractor Crowder Gulf.

 

This week, the City will begin actively collecting debris within some gated communities that have completed all required documents and have significant debris piles.

SCHEDULED TRUCK LOCATIONS TODAY, Monday, Nov. 7:

➡️ There is 1 truck in Zone 1.

➡️ There is 1 truck in Zone 3.

➡️ There are 3 trucks in Zone 4.

 

***The contractor’s first-pass collection is nearing completion.*** The final pass collection will start on Monday, Nov. 14. Residents should have all their storm-related debris to the curb, separated in like piles (vegetative, construction, furniture, appliances, etc.) by this date. This final pass collection will take a couple of weeks, so please plan to have all final debris prepared by Nov. 14.

120,000 cubic yards of debris have been collected in the City since Oct. 5.
