Will Nick Pachota discuss his platform at the Eastgate forum, since he does not disclose it on his website?
The Uncensored Report, LLC
There is a forum at Eastgate Park tomorrow at 1 at 1221 Poplar Drive.
Hopefully Nick Pachota will tell us why on his website he does not list a platform.
Frankie Abbruzzino’s website covers a variety of issues that the city faces, and he offers solutions. Nick’s web site covers his experience in the EMS arena, which is all he talks about. Nick talks about taking off just after being elected to work during the pandemic. Then he talks about supporting police. Where is his platform? What does he stand for? What will he do about the high millage rate, homelessness, the environment, the problems that will stem from the hurricane, what are his views on Pat Neal and other developers? Is his website representative of his past three years and what we can expect from him for three more years, nothing?
Did Nick vote consistently for the developers because of the influence that Pat Neal has over him? The same influence tied to the Florida First Initiative sending out text and mailers glorifying him. As an insider in the same party as Nick, I can tell you that Nick knew about them and could have stopped them, but he did not? Why? Why is it imperative to Pat Neal, Holic, Boone, and Nick for him to be mayor? He says it is to serve the community, but he could have remained a city councilmember and helped the community. Rather, did his ego get in the way? Many are saying this, after seeing how the title of Vice Mayor has transformed Nick into a different person.
Since Holic is holding fundraisers for him and pushing Nick for mayor, can we expect Nick’s decisions to be influence by John? Holic is out there pushing to rebuild Seaboard and turn it into a version of Bradenton’s River Walk. Is he pushing Nick, so that he has a puppet in office that will help him achieve this objective for whomever Holic is working for?
The Florida First Initiative PAC mailer stated that Nick was concerned about taxes being too high. Ask him why it took Frankie Abbruzzino to bring up the idea of discounting the millage rate, since home values have doubled. Something Sarasota did just a couple weeks ago. Venice remains .9-1.1% higher than the county, City of Sarasota, and North Port. What are they doing with all the extra money?
The Pat Neal influenced Florida First Initiative PAC mailer stated that Nick was concerned with affordable housing. If so, why is his companies latest project being bult for H-2B foreign workers, instead of locals? His brother does more for locals through the restaurant, but Nick rarely works there, so why is he taking the credit? Why has he voted for Pat Neal termed affordable housing, which puts monthly rates around $1,700 and are affordable if you are making $80k/year? What about the server working two jobs at their restaurants that can only afford $800/mth?
Where does Nick stand on the environment? Ask him why he has done nothing about the outfall, forgotten about Florida Friendly Landscaping, and other environmentally friendly programs.
The Neal influenced PAC Florida First Initiative suggest that Nick is the savior of Venice, during Ian. It does not mention that Nick did nothing during his three years to prepare for the next Irma. From working with the county for shelters, to doing something as simple as creating a one-page hurricane informational guide for seniors. Something providing resources in case a hurricane like Ian strikes, so they are not left alone to deal with the aftermath. Where is the Irma money that was set aside after that hurricane to help with future hurricanes, about $2 million?
Ask him why it took him over a week to visit the Bay Indies where there are several homes without roofs. Seniors that were overwhelmed and confused. Ask him why he did not visit until Frankie Abbruzzino brought attention to the issue and even then, offered very little in the way of help or solutions, instead he politicized the situation via the Neal influenced PAC mailer from Florida First Initiative that came out a week after Ian.
Hopefully you get what I am stating with this posting. Nick has put out very little information about what he has achieved over the past three years and what he plans on achieving if elected. Is he doing this because there were no accomplishments and because he has no plans? Nick is hoping that if he spends enough money sending out mailers combined with Pat Neals influenced PAC mailers and text, he can bamboozle the residents of Venice to vote for him.
Nick has been able to get by without being asked the hard questions and without giving a lot of detail. Let’s send a message to Nick Pachota and the Neal cabal. Send them packing with a vote for Frankie “The Scoop Guy” Abbruzzino For Mayor – Venice
