Sarasota County schools closed on Tuesday, possibly through Thursday

9/26 11AM UPDATE: ALL TRADITIONAL PUBLIC SCHOOLS WILL BE CLOSED TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 27TH.
 
All traditional public schools will be closed on Tuesday, September 27th, out of an abundance of caution and to prepare schools that serve as emergency evacuation centers.
 
Most likely, schools will be closed Tuesday through Thursday of this week. As always, we will continue to share updates.
