Lobeck, Ahearn-Koch, and Trice advance to the City of Sarasota General Election

Sarasota, FL: Three candidates for the two At-Large City Commission seats have advanced to a second election this fall, based on unofficial results from Tuesday’s first round of voting.
Jen Ahearn-Koch, Dan Lobeck and Debbie Trice were the top three vote-getters and will be on the ballot in the Nov. 8 general election.
Unofficial results, as reported on the Sarasota County Supervisor of Elections website, www.SarasotaVotes.com, are as follows:

Debbie Trice | 3,892 | 19.51% |
In accordance with the City Charter, the three candidates receiving the highest number of votes in the first election will have their names placed on the ballot for the general election on Nov. 8. The two candidates receiving a majority of votes in the general election will be sworn into office Monday, Nov. 14, to serve four-year terms.
Election results are expected to become official Thursday following a final canvassing of vote-by-mail and provisional ballots by the Supervisor of Elections. For more information about voting, call 941-861-8600 or visit www.SarasotaVotes.com.
