City of Venice makes ADA parking and sidewalk improvements within Centennial Park.

A contractor for the City of Venice will be constructing ADA parking and sidewalk improvements within Centennial Park. The work is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, Aug. 3, with the replacement of approximately 250 feet of sidewalk along the eastern end of the parking lot near Nokomis Ave. N.
The sidewalk replacement is expected to take about a week to complete, during which time the parking spaces that abut the sidewalk will be inaccessible. Upon completion of the sidewalk, a portion of the parking lot will be resurfaced. The parking spaces along the sidewalk will be reconfigured to add an additional ADA parking space and ramp.
