The North Port City Commission recently held an Affordable and Workforce Housing Workshop

City of North Port: The availability of attainable housing is a primary concern of the City of North Port and our community. The City Commission recently held an Affordable and Workforce Housing Workshop to discuss this important issue. During the workshop City staff detailed the current rental and housing issues in North Port and provided potential tools that could be used to make a positive impact on the housing situation. The City Commission directed staff to develop potential policies and implementation plans for these tools and bring them back to the City Commission for further consideration.
