VPD: We have been investigating an alleged attempted kidnapping that was supposed to have occurred last Saturday at the playground in Wellfield Park. Knowledge of the incident has spread into the community and we have been receiving several calls from concerned citizens. At this point we have been unable to validate the claims or identify anyone who was involved.
