Sarasota Police investigating another shooting

UPDATE: The victim was kept overnight with non-life-threatening injuries. Our Detectives are attempting to locate additional camera views, but it appears the victim was not being honest in the events that occurred. More follow-up is being conducted today.

SPD: We’re investigating a shooting that happened near 29th St & Goodrich Ave. One person was shot and has non-life threatening injuries. The investigation is in the preliminary stages but anyone who has any information is asked to call 941-316-1199 or CrimeStoppers at 941-366-TIPS.
